Tax Manager – Real Estate
Our client is a 90-person CPA firm based in Century City with one of the most sophisticated real estate tax practices in California. Their client base includes private equity real estate funds, family office developers, REITs, and high-net-worth real estate investors with portfolios spanning multifamily, industrial, retail, and ground-up development.
As Tax Manager – Real Estate you will lead the preparation and review of complex partnership and S-corporation returns, oversee cost segregation studies and bonus depreciation analysis, advise clients on 1031 exchange planning and Qualified Opportunity Zone structuring, and manage a team of 3–4 seniors and staff through busy season.

Requirements
- CPA required; MST or LLM a plus
- 6+ years of public accounting experience with a strong focus on real estate partnerships and pass-through entities
- Technical proficiency in IRC Sections 704, 743, 754, 1031, and Opportunity Zone regulations
- Experience with cost segregation analysis and bonus depreciation modeling
- CCH Axcess or Thomson Reuters GoSystem experience preferred
