Quality Engineer – Aerospace

Our client is a Tier 1 aerospace structures manufacturer producing complex machined and sheet metal assemblies for a major commercial OEM and several defense prime contractors. Their Wichita facility operates under AS9100 Rev D certification and runs lean manufacturing cells supporting high-rate production programs.

As Quality Engineer you will serve as the primary quality authority on assigned production programs, leading FAIR (First Article Inspection Report) development, managing NCR disposition and root cause corrective action, performing supplier quality audits, and supporting customer source inspections. You will also lead internal AS9100 audit activities and drive continuous improvement using APQP and PFMEA tools.
