Plant Manager – Food Manufacturing

Our client is a privately held food manufacturer with annual revenues exceeding $400M, producing branded and private-label protein and specialty food products for national retail chains and foodservice distributors. Their Green Bay facility runs 24/5 across three shifts and employs approximately 350 production and support staff.

As Plant Manager you will have full P&L responsibility for the facility and direct leadership over Production, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and EHS functions. You will drive OEE improvements, manage a $60M operating budget, lead SQF and FSMA compliance initiatives, oversee capital project planning and execution, and develop a bench of supervisors and line leads.

The company has made significant recent investments in automation and line upgrades and is seeking a Plant Manager who can leverage these capabilities to further improve throughput, reduce waste, and achieve best-in-class food safety performance.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of food or consumer products manufacturing experience with at least 4 years in a Plant Manager or Operations Manager role
  • Demonstrated track record of improving OEE, reducing scrap, and managing multi-shift hourly workforces
  • Strong knowledge of FSMA, SQF, HACCP, and GMP regulatory requirements
  • Experience leading capital projects and automation implementations
  • BS in Engineering, Food Science, or Operations Management preferred
