Maintenance Manager – Automotive
Our client is a global Tier 1 automotive supplier with a major stamping and assembly operation in the Spartanburg area. The facility runs 24/7 producing structural body components for multiple German and domestic OEM platforms, operating a press shop with tandem and transfer press lines, robotic welding cells, and automated assembly equipment.
As Maintenance Manager you will oversee all planned and unplanned maintenance activities across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. You will implement and manage a predictive and preventive maintenance program using CMMS (Maximo or SAP PM), lead root cause analysis on critical downtime events, manage a $5M maintenance parts and labor budget, and drive TPM initiatives in partnership with production leadership.

Requirements
- 8+ years of maintenance experience in a high-volume automotive or heavy industrial manufacturing environment
- At least 3 years in a maintenance supervision or management role overseeing skilled trades
- Strong technical knowledge of hydraulic press systems, robotic welding cells, and PLC-controlled automation
- Proficiency with CMMS platforms (Maximo, SAP PM, or equivalent)
- TPM or predictive maintenance program development experience strongly preferred
