Interventional Radiologist

HealthcarePermanent

Our client is a Harvard-affiliated academic medical center with one of the largest IR services in New England. The division performs more than 12,000 procedures annually across two hybrid IR suites, a biplane angio suite, and a dedicated IR clinic. Faculty members split their time between clinical work, dedicated academic days, and rotating on the resident and fellow teaching service.

As Interventional Radiologist you will cover the full breadth of vascular and non-vascular IR — including embolization (Y90, TACE, UAE, PAE), venous work (fistula, IVC filters, thrombectomy), oncologic ablation, and interventional pain. Weekly IR clinic sessions manage ongoing oncology and PAD patients. Diagnostic reading contributes roughly 15% of clinical FTE by choice.

Compensation is base salary plus a call stipend, with production upside for practices exceeding target RVUs. Full academic benefits, a $10,000 CME allowance, occurrence malpractice, and eligibility for an academic appointment at the affiliated medical school.

Requirements

  • MD or DO with completion of an ACGME-accredited diagnostic radiology residency and IR/DR or vascular and interventional radiology fellowship
  • Board certified or board eligible in Interventional Radiology / Diagnostic Radiology
  • Active or eligible for Massachusetts medical license and unrestricted DEA
  • 5+ years post-fellowship experience preferred, though exceptional recent grads considered
  • Comfort with teaching residents and fellows in a busy academic environment
