Industrial Engineer – Distribution & Fulfillment

Our client is one of the largest third-party logistics and e-commerce fulfillment operators in the country, with a flagship campus in Columbus comprising four buildings and over 2.5M square feet of fulfillment and returns processing space. The IE team drives continuous improvement across inbound, storage, picking, packing, and outbound operations.

As Industrial Engineer you will develop and maintain engineered labor standards using time study and MOST methodologies, conduct line balancing and capacity modeling, analyze throughput data to identify bottlenecks, support layout redesigns and slotting optimization projects, and lead kaizen events targeting labor efficiency and ergonomic improvement.

This is a high-visibility role working alongside operations, automation, and technology teams. The company is investing heavily in automated storage and retrieval, goods-to-person robotics, and AI-based workforce management tools, and IEs play a central role in evaluating and implementing these solutions.
