Estate Planning & Trusts Attorney
Our client is a boutique private wealth law firm serving a predominantly Latin American and domestic ultra-high-net-worth clientele from its Brickell offices. With Miami's continued rise as a global wealth hub, the firm's trusts and estates practice has grown substantially and is seeking an experienced attorney to meet surging client demand.
As Estate Planning & Trusts Attorney you will draft complex revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, durable powers of attorney, and healthcare directives. You will advise on advanced wealth transfer strategies including GRATs, SLATs, IDGTs, QPRTs, and family limited partnerships. International clients will require familiarity with cross-border estate issues, foreign trusts, and FBAR/FATCA compliance considerations.
The firm offers a collegial environment, strong mentorship from senior partners, and significant potential for business development compensation for attorneys who cultivate referral relationships with wealth managers and family offices.
Requirements
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school; Florida bar admission required; LLM in Taxation or Estate Planning preferred
- 5+ years of trusts and estates experience at a law firm or trust company
- Technical proficiency in federal estate, gift, and GST tax planning
- Exposure to international estate planning and cross-border trust structures strongly preferred
- Fluency in Spanish is a meaningful advantage given the client base
