Environmental & Natural Resources Attorney
Our client is a leading environmental and natural resources law firm with offices in Portland and Seattle, advising utilities, energy developers, timber companies, and industrial manufacturers on their most complex regulatory and litigation challenges across the Pacific Northwest.
As Environmental & Natural Resources Attorney you will advise clients on CERCLA liability and remediation negotiation, Clean Water Act and Clean Air Act permitting, Oregon and Washington state environmental compliance, and environmental due diligence for real estate and corporate transactions. You will also support clients in administrative proceedings before state and federal environmental agencies.

Requirements
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school; Oregon bar admission required or in progress
- 4+ years of environmental law experience at a law firm, government agency, or regulated industry
- Strong knowledge of CERCLA, RCRA, Clean Water Act, and Clean Air Act
- Experience with state environmental agencies (Oregon DEQ, Washington Ecology) a significant advantage
- Prior experience at EPA, Army Corps of Engineers, or similar federal agency a plus
