Anesthesiologist

Our client is a 40-physician independent anesthesia group serving a 400-bed community hospital, an owned multi-specialty ASC, and two pain clinic locations. The group has held the hospital contract for more than 30 years and is one of the last remaining physician-owned anesthesia practices in the market — deliberately maintaining independence rather than joining a national aggregator.

Case mix is broad and includes general surgery, orthopedic, urology, GI, OB (24/7 in-house coverage rotation), and a growing cardiac program (a subset of physicians only, not required for this role). ASC block time is predictable and family-friendly. Regional anesthesia is encouraged and well supported.

Compensation begins as an employed base with call stipend and quickly moves to a two-year partnership track. Post-partnership, income scales with the group's bottom line — historically a meaningful step up from the starting base. Full benefits, generous PTO, occurrence-based malpractice, and CME allowance.
